Delete your data — Chase Results: Fuel Prices (KL8 Tech Group)

This page explains how to request deletion of your data for the Android app Chase Results: Fuel Prices (Google Play package com.chaseresults.app) and the website chaseresults.com, developed by KL8 Tech Group (Google Play developer name: KL8TECHGROUP), ABN 77 923 391 849. Contact: [email protected].

The app has no user accounts, so there is no account to delete. The only personal data linked to your device is the optional price-alert push subscription described below.

How to delete your data

Delete immediately in the app: open Chase Results: Fuel Prices, go to price alerts and turn off price alerts. This immediately deletes your push subscription (push token) and your saved alert area and alert settings from our servers.
Or request deletion by email: email [email protected] with the subject "Delete my data - Chase Results". So we can identify your push subscription, include your device model, browser/app (e.g. Chase Results app or Chrome), the approximate date you turned on alerts, and the alert area and fuel type you chose. We will also delete any support emails you have sent us if you ask.
Uninstalling the app stops all further data collection. (To remove an existing alert subscription from our servers right away, turn off alerts before uninstalling or email us as above.)

What is deleted

Your web push token / push subscription (device identifier).
Your saved alert area and alert settings (fuel type, price threshold, favourite stations).
Any support emails you have sent us, on request.

What is kept, and for how long

Diagnostics/server logs (including those recorded by our hosting/network providers Hostinger and Cloudflare): kept only for a limited period needed for security and troubleshooting, then deleted or aggregated.
Price reports you submitted: may be kept to maintain price history.
Location used for nearby prices: not stored.
No account data is kept, because the app has no accounts.

Response time

In-app deletion takes effect immediately. We respond to email deletion requests within 30 days.
